The Hay – Equestrian Center & Eatery, a cafe at the equestrian school that will mesmerize you with a beautiful atmosphere. Complete with happiness with a variety of food, desserts and beverages. Both Western food and spicy Thai food are served. On top this place includes activities in the shop that allow everyone to learn how to ride horses or to do family activities together to enjoy your time.
The interior decoration is amazing. Many places to sit, lots of distance and privacy and a nice mix of clean white and wooden decor and furniture elements. You will for sure find your favorite spot and corner to relax and enjoy an entire afternoon here.
Since an equestrian center needs some space that location of The Hay was placed a little bit outside of Bangkok. Other side of Chao Praya River and only reachable by Taxi or Grab. Either you go the full way by car or take the MRT blue line to Lak Song and hire a taxi from there. Just plan some time to get there which ever way you choose it can be 45-60min. BUT it’s definitely worth the trip.
As for the food menu, the recommended dish that the restaurant recommends to try is the popular Stir-fried Liang leaves with eggs (160 baht). Stir-fry Bai Liang leaves are local vegetables from the south, stir fried with eggs until they taste mellow. Great aroma. Also on the menu classical Thai dishes like Pad Krap Prao, stir fried meat (pork or chicken) with Basil Leaves, fish, pasta and many more. All presented in a very beautiful way.
Besides perfectly crafted coffee creations and a skilled barista you can enjoy all kinds of soft drinks, italian sodas and Frappes like the Japanese Melon Frappé (120 baht)
